Think of typical London tourist “must-dos”, and what do you come up with?

If I created a catchphrase for Amsterdam, it would be “Amsterdam: Not just sex and weed.”
Because that’s exactly what I thought. Yes, we walked through the Red Light District, past coffee shops, and had an experience at a sex show, but I also got to see the beautiful sights, the huge history, and eat some awesome food. Continue reading “Amsterdam: Not just sex and weed”
At 3571m above sea level, Mt Jungfraujoch in Switzerland had certainly climbed it’s way into my heart.

One thing that’s been on my bucket list for a while was to ride a gondola in Venice, aka The Floating City.
While usually known as a ‘wet’ location, due to it’s many canals (hundreds of them), it was wetter than usual when we visited – it was rainy and dreary all day – but perfect to me. Continue reading “Who doesn’t dream of taking a gondola ride in Venice?”
Rome. Roma.
Some people say Paris is the City of Love, but I reckon Rome could give it a run for its money. Continue reading “Rome, Italy: The other City of Love?”
Barcelona – Wow.
What a wonderful place with such a life about it, beautiful food and gorgeous architecture wherever you look.
Our first night in Barcelona was spent in the city’s Gothic Quarter – which was swarming with people due to the annual La Merce Festival being on (which we had no idea about). Continue reading “The colours of Barcelona, Spain”
