Well that’s India 2015 done and dusted.
Along with my “wrap up” video of my whirlwind trip to this magnificent country, I thought I would share with you some of my favourite photographs from my travels there.
Here we go!
What better way to end my time in India than relaxing on a beach in paradise by day, and consuming cocktails by night, with new friends by my side?
No better way, in fact.
There is lots to do in Mumbai (Bombay).
We had little more than a day to do it.

I must admit something: Before I went to India, I knew who Gandhi was, and I knew he did a lot for peace and freedom, but I didn’t know REALLY who this icon was.
However, my visit to India certainly changed that.

Udaipur, I feel, is like the Venice of India – it’s based around a whole lot of water (rivers and lakes), its quite artistic, it has amazing food, has a whole lot of old style building surrounding windy and narrow cobblestone roads, and it’s got a very romantic feel – I mean, look at that sunset!

I have this idea that you can’t really get a feel for a country’s culture without heading out of the main cities or tourist places.
I feel like cities are kind of, at their very heart, quite the same around the world (with their own flair, of course), but the countryside can really show you want the country is really like.

One place you can’t not visit if you’re headed to India is Jaipur.
The capital of Rajasthan, and also known as ‘The Pink City’, it’s a wonderful place of Indian culture, beautiful sites, delicious restaurants, and Bollywood.
Oh yes – Jaipur is THE place for Bollywood!
It’s one of those bucket list items for travellers, the Taj Mahal.
So, of course, we were headed to Agra so we could stand in front of this wondrous thing.
I mean, I couldn’t come to India and not see it – right?

India: Bright colours, strong smells, fast-moving traffic, and blindingly obvious stares.
Ah, what a country is India!
Delhi is often the first place visitors to the country visit, and what an introduction to India it is.
A widely spread city with 10 million people living within it, Delhi is crazy busy and bustling.
But don’t let the busy streets put you off – Delhi has so much character, and so much to offer.
