One place you can’t not visit if you’re headed to India is Jaipur.
The capital of Rajasthan, and also known as ‘The Pink City’, it’s a wonderful place of Indian culture, beautiful sites, delicious restaurants, and Bollywood.
Oh yes – Jaipur is THE place for Bollywood!
It’s one of those bucket list items for travellers, the Taj Mahal.
So, of course, we were headed to Agra so we could stand in front of this wondrous thing.

India: Bright colours, strong smells, fast-moving traffic, and blindingly obvious stares.
Ah, what a country is India!
Delhi is often the first place visitors to the country visit, and what an introduction to India it is.
A widely spread city with 10 million people living within it, Delhi is crazy busy and bustling.
But don’t let the busy streets put you off – Delhi has so much character, and so much to offer.
So basically in the midst of heartbreak, I booked a plane ticket and spot on a tour through India.
Truth: I don’t even remember pressing “book now” online because I was that out of it at the time.
Completely sober, I guess just completely heartbroken.
