A Day Trip to Sydney

Sydney may be 1000km away, but it’s only an 1.5hr flight away from my nearest airport, Ballina.

So luckily, on Sunday I was able to visit Sydney for the day to see one of my close friends, Rachel, who recently moved there.

So basically in the midst of heartbreak, I booked a plane ticket and spot on a tour through India.

Truth: I don’t even remember pressing “book now” online because I was that out of it at the time.

Completely sober, I guess just completely heartbroken.

My most recent adventure – To Canada – was a very different experience for me.

Usually, I travel solo and meet up with group tours along the way, but this time I was organising everything from go to woah.

Oh, and my mother was coming along too.
