  1. Hi Marnie – found you on Youtube, I absolutely love your videos. 🙂 I’ve been planning a trip to India and we are also doing the Uncover India G adventures tour. Was just wondering what vaccinations you had before you left?

I’m booked with my GP next week – some of the injections I’ll have to pay for so just trying to anticipate what I might need and budgeting for that! Based in the UK so some are free on the NHS. I’ve used the WHO site, and also FitForTravel. The ones I am unsure about are rabies and Japanese Encephalitus. Did you or anyone on your tour receive these vaccinations?

    Thanks for any advice.

    Clare

    1. Hi Clare, thank you so much! 🙂 Oh you’re going to love India! Hopefully you have Raj as your G Adventures tour guide! He’s awesome!
When it comes to vaccinations, I just made sure my general immunisations were up to date, and while my GP told me about the rabies and JE shots, as the risk is quite low, I skipped on them. I don’t recall anyone else on my tour saying they’d had them either, but I could be wrong about that. Anyway, none of us died in any case 🙂
Hope that helps! Have an amazing trip!!! xx
